  • Philadelphia's planned Museum of Sports has chosen the former Lit Brothers building at Seventh and Market for a 12,000 sqft space and seeks a financial backer to secure a lease and local incentives + if funding is secured, the nonprofit will open in three to four months to display rare memorabilia.  KYW Newsradio

EDUCATION NEWS

  • State data from the Arts Education Data Project shows over 70% of public school students take at least one arts course, with over 80% participating in Philly schools. Smaller districts, such as Somerset (7.5%) and Shamokin (11%), report much lower enrollment likely due to funding gaps.  WHYY
