- ➤ Philadelphia’s Institute of Contemporary Art is hosting “A World in the Making: The Shakers,” a collaborative traveling exhibition that shows how the historic Shakers influenced modern furniture and design (it runs through Aug. 9) and opens this weekend. WHYY
- ➤ A dozen Mummers string bands performed at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday (after Jan. 1 storms led to minor injuries and damaged props) to revive their New Year’s parade.
