  • On Sunday, Feb. 22, Philadelphia 76ers legend Julius 'Dr. J' Erving celebrated his 76th birthday at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, where Mayor Cherelle Parker & City Council President Kenyatta Johnson presented him a citation for his contributions to basketball.  Metro Philadelphia
  • The 76ers announced that rookie Johni Broome suffered a torn lateral meniscus in his right knee during a Blue Coats game yesterday — he will consult with medical experts with no set timeline for his return.  Metro Philadelphia
  • The Sixers ended a four game losing streak with a 135 to 108 win over the Timberwolves Sunday night in Minnesota. Key plays from Tyrese Maxey (he scored 39 points) and VJ Edgecombe (who made six three-pointers) powered the victory.  Metro Philadelphia
