- ➤ Volunteers from Villanova University and Habitat for Humanity broke ground Saturday on Pope Leo Village in North Philadelphia – a project funded by an anonymous donor to build 26 affordable homes and promote youth volunteerism over the next two years. The Philadelphia Inquirer
- ➤ On Saturday, Temple Made Fest drew 108 entrepreneurs, including students and alumni, to Temple's campus (along 13th Street and Polett Walk) where vendors sold jewelry, art, crafts, and services. The popular event doubled in size since its 2025 debut and may expand to twice a year. The Philadelphia Inquirer

- ➤ Philadelphia residents in the new Philadelphia Land Steward Union are calling for a revised land acquisition process from the Land Bank—requesting 180 days of exclusive neighbor rights and expanded eligibility for homeowners and long term renters.
