- ➤ Advocates in West Philly urged city officials to act before early July to preserve 925 affordable rental units controlled by Neighborhood Restorations that serve around 3,000 long-term tenants. - ➤ Foley’s: The Philly Sports Shop is opening on May 10 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on South Street, offering signed sports memorabilia, Philly-inspired apparel, and local artwork. - ➤ TerraPower Isotopes, a subsidiary of Bill Gates’ nuclear company, has begun construction on a $450 million factory in Bellwether District to produce actinium-225 for cancer treatments.
