- ➤ Cobbs Creek Golf Club in West Philly is undergoing a $180 million restoration with Tiger Woods support and the opening of a new educational TGR Learning Lab that serves local youth (7,000 students already) and will eventually host PGA events while honoring a legacy of inclusivity from 1916. - ➤ Good Shepherd Senior Residences has opened a 55-unit apartment for seniors on Lansdowne Ave in Overbrook, built on the site of the former church. The $30 million development must stay affordable for 40 years plus nearly all apartments have been leased. WHYY

- ➤ The Philadelphia Furniture Bank (run by Pathways to Housing PA) will close on June 30 after giving free beds and tables to over 10,000 local households for 12 years. - ➤ Mod Spuds opened its first brick-and-mortar spot on South Street today under Chef Ange Branca's direction, offering six creative loaded jacket potato dishes and a range of specialty drinks.
