- ➤ On Tuesday, police officers testified that former officer Mark Dial shot and killed a 27 year old man, Eddie Irizarry, during a traffic stop on East Willard Street in Fairhill on August 14 when Irizarry was in his car holding a knife—witnesses noted Dial appeared visibly upset at the hospital after admitting he fired his weapon multiple times because he mistook the knife for a gun.
