- ➤ The National Labor Relations Board certified the union election results for Whole Foods in Philadelphia after dismissing the store’s objections—setting the stage for contract negotiations. - ➤ Detectives released surveillance video from a double shooting in West Philadelphia on Mother’s Day, May 11 at 52nd and Market — police said a man in black fired several times at two men and then ran toward 53rd Street while both victims are expected to survive. KYW Newsradio

- ➤ PJM Interconnection said rising summer temperatures, increased AI data center loads and retiring coal plants will strain the grid as demand grows beyond normal levels. The operator warned that if demand tops 166,000 MW, its demand response contracts may add up to 7,900 MW—helping to prevent rolling outages for customers in 13 states. WHYY
