  • Philadelphia is celebrating Pride Month 2026 with a kickoff flag ceremony at Sofitel on Tuesday, June 2, followed by a City Hall flag raising on Friday, June 5, and a series of parades and festivals through June 7 (Pride Is Power). EDUCATION NEWS

  • Swarthmore College announced its Tuition Guarantee Tuesday that will cover tuition for American students from families earning under $200,000, funded by an endowment expected to exceed $71 million for 2026-27. Applicants must complete the FAFSA, CSS Profile and tax document upload to qualify as part of the college’s need-blind admissions process.  WHYY

  • New Jersey and New York attorneys general announced Wednesday an investigation into FIFA's seat mapping changes that raised ticket prices for matches including the final on July 19.
