ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Monday morning, a large water main broke at Perth and Thompson streets in North Philly and flooded nearby homes by carrying water and debris down Thompson and Franklin streets—about 5 feet of water filled one basement and nearly a dozen cars were towed while crews cut power, and officials have yet to say when repairs will be finished. - ➤ Pennsylvania election officials announced a redesigned provisional ballot envelope that makes it clearer where voters and poll workers must sign—Philadelphia will use the new design in November municipal elections as counties may opt in with financial help available.
