- ➤ A man was shot and killed in Crescentville late Friday night at around 11:45 p.m. on Alcott Street and was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 11:51 p.m.—police said they have not released any details about the incident. The Philadelphia Inquirer
- ➤ Police arrested Terrell Frazier, 22, after searching his West Philadelphia home this week in connection with last month’s deadly Grays Ferry shooting that left three people dead and nine wounded—authorities say additional charges are expected as the investigation continues. Metro Philadelphia
- ➤ Police said that on Friday night a man was fatally shot outside a bar in Lawncrest when three armed men got out of a white Jeep Grand Cherokee and opened fire on the 500 block of Alcott Street near Rising Sun Avenue — they are also investigating another shooting earlier that involved a similar vehicle.
