- ➤ On Sunday, about 60 college students from historically Black universities and predominantly white institutions gathered at Penn Hillel to share a meal—illustrating efforts to bridge divides between Black and Jewish communities—while challenging a climate of hate. The Philadelphia Inquirer
- ➤ The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University has cut its hours from five days to three due to money troubles and fewer visitors. The museum will reopen on Friday—Oct. 3 with public access on Friday, Saturday and Sunday while school tours will be on Thursdays and Fridays. KYW Newsradio

- ➤ Re-Match, a Denmark-based recycling company, filed for bankruptcy in June and left over 11,000 tons of PFAS-laden artificial turf stored at sites across Pennsylvania including at a farm in Nicholson—now the state must plan a cleanup to manage the environmental threat. The unresolved disposal of the chemical-loaded turf poses risks to water and farmland for local communities. The Philadelphia Inquirer
