  • Philadelphia restaurants such as Provenance, Her Place Supper Club, and Friday Saturday Sunday received Michelin stars today + their tables are completely booked with long waitlists as diners rush to reserve spots.   • A beloved stone dinosaur—Bridget the Dino—lost her head over the weekend in Manayunk Bridge Garden when vandals decapitated the statue, and park volunteers have filed a report asking anyone with info to come forward.  The Philadelphia Inquirer

  • Philadelphia is hosting many holiday events where locals can snap photos with Santa at venues including Christmas Village, the Festival of Trees, Gas Lamp Hotel, McGillin’s and more.   • 1812 Productions' political humor show This Is The Week That Is will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a run from Nov 28 to Dec 31 at Plays & Players Theatre. The season will feature a special performance with 27 former cast members on Dec 15 and additional captioned shows on Dec 12 and Dec 20 — marking a milestone for this beloved Philadelphia tradition.  Metro Philadelphia

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Eagles lost 24-21 to the Cowboys after a 21-point lead fell and rookie safety Drew Mukuba broke his leg — a tide that hurt their playoff push. The Rams' win dropped Philadelphia from the top NFC seed and Raiders fired ex-Birds coach Chip Kelly — while the Eagles will host the Bears on Black Friday for a crucial tiebreaker.  The Philadelphia Inquirer
