➤ State Rep. Perry Warren has introduced legislation that will require home sellers to disclose flood risks, prior damage claims and insurance details for properties in FEMA designated flood zones– a move aimed at alerting buyers after severe storms caused major losses. The bipartisan proposal awaits a House vote and would also have the Insurance Department launch a website to provide flood zone and insurance information. WHYY
➤ Delaware County will not appeal a court ruling that lets 13 municipalities continue their own environmental health inspections + the county will work with these local governments to serve residents as its three-year-old health department adjusts its plans.
